Our Cathedral Parish will welcome the Migrant Jubilee Cross as part of a special “Voyage” celebrating the contributions of migrant and refugee communities across Australia.
The Cross will visit the parish on 5 and 6 December, including visits to our Parish schools. Parishioners and visitors are especially invited to attend the 6:00pm Vigil Mass on Saturday 6 December, where the Cross will be present.
Following Mass, everyone is warmly invited to gather in the Cathedral forecourt for multicultural food and entertainment as we celebrate the richness and diversity of our community.
The Migrant Jubilee Cross is the fine work of John Kerklan of Quirindi. All are most welcome.
The Catholic Parish of Armidale acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, work and worship, the Anaiwan people. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
